Production Placements at Stiwdio Clwyd provide short learning opportunities in theatre, across a broad range of disciplines and departments at Theatr Clwyd.

Each placement would be over 3 weeks at a point in a production cycle when we feel it would have the most meaningful impact on the development of the trainee and the team have the capacity to hold and support the development of that trainee.

How To Apply

Applications should be a short expression of interest and either a CV, biog or portfolio. In the expression of interest, please tell us how this placement fits within your career plan. Do not worry if these plans are not fully formed but some rough outlines and aspirations are good. You are welcome to link to proofs of work if this exists on-line. Think about how what you are sharing relates to what you’ll be doing on your placement according to the placement information below.

In your application, please do not over-exaggerate your level of experience. If we offer you a placement it will be fitted to what we know about your experience and how we can help develop your current skillset.

Please do not apply for more than one placement across different departments at the same time – please focus on where you feel a placement would have the greatest impact on your development.

You can also submit an expression of interest as a short video (no longer than 3 minutes) along with links to the files you would like us to see as an example of your work.

Applications should be sent to stiwdio@theatrclwyd.com
