Theatr Clwyd is looking for eight young people for its new Youth Advisory Board. Young people are a vital part of Theatr Clwyd, and they are looking for young voices to shape the future of the organisation.
The Youth Advisory Board is a group of young people aged 11-25 years old who will meet 4 times a year to discuss and dream together about what the future looks like for Theatr Clwyd. There will be a Chair and Deputy Chair for this board and these two people will also attend Theatr Clwyd’s full Board of Trustees. Theatr Clwyd is looking for young people from a diverse range of ages, genders, backgrounds, and ethnicities. They want to make sure everyone’s voices are heard and acted upon, whoever you are, whatever your background!
0 StarsYoung people are at the heart of everything we do, and we need their voice to drive us forward. With our new building underway we want the Youth Board to challenge and advise us at this really exciting time. We also want to give young people an insight into how a theatre works and see how we can all learn from each other.Gwennan Mair, Creative Engagement Director of Theatr Clwyd said.
0 StarsMyself and Kate, our new Artistic Director, will attend these Youth Advisory Board meetings, listen to what you think, what you want, and your thoughts on what we can do better. Then, with you, we’ll put a plan as to how to make your ideas a reality. We’ll also support the Chair and Deputy Chair to attend trustee meetings, and for you to have your voices heard on behalf of the youth board. We love what we do and want you to shape the decisions we make as we all continue to enjoy Theatr Clwyd together!Liam Evans-Ford, Executive Director of Theatr Clwyd said.
