Every year, Sinfonia Cymru collaborates with well-known artists and international stars who inspire and challenge us. Their latest cross-cultural collaboration is a new and expanded version of Songs We Carry, an acclaimed performance toured by Ana Silvera and Saied Silbak in recent years. It explores the emotive melancholy of Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) music and the rich Maqams and intricate melodies of Arabic song.

Legendary Welsh musician Patrick Rimes has rescored Songs We Carry to be performed by Ana, Saied, himself, and four Sinfonia Cymru musicians, adding complementary Welsh songs to the set.
