Sara Otung trained at the Identity School of Acting. Her theatre work includes Nye for the National Theatre and Wales Millenium Centre (2025 and 2024) and Shmedic at Chichester Festival Theatre (2026), which she both wrote and performed in.

Her television credits include PRU, Singing for Britain and BBC Proms. Alongside her acting career, Sara holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Birmingham and is a practicing medical doctor.
