Kimberly Hart-Simpson
Kimberly is an actor and writer born in Rhyl, North Wales. She has recently returned from her run of Amnesia at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where she was the proud recipient of this year’s Edinburgh National Partnership Award with Sherman Theatre and Pleasance, in association with Theatr Clwyd. The production was produced by Queenie Miller for Hat Trick and directed by Theatr Clwyd’s very own Kate Wasserberg.
She is best known for her role as Nicky Wheatley in Coronation Street, where she has proudly launched a stiletto at someone’s head across the cobbles. She has also appeared in Brassic and Mount Pleasant, The Royal Exchange, alongside a variety of other random adventures, including Celebrity Hunted, where she was eventually caught hiding out in a luxury boutique hotel wearing nothing but a fluffy dressing gown.
Kimberly is also part of the 2026 Women in Film and TV alumni as a comedy writer. Having joined the long-term story conference team on Casualty this year, she is driven by a passion to tell distinctly Welsh stories with humour, heart and authenticity.
