Christopher Pealing
What instruments do you play?
All Brass instruments
How did you get into music?
I started playing the cornet at my local brass band at the age of 7. My next door neighbour played in the band and invited me to go along.
What has been your favourite musical experience?
There have been so many. Lots of tours abroad have been great fun, but I suppose playing at the Royal Albert Hall has to be the best experience.
What do you like to do outside of teaching?
I play with many different groups, from orchestras, wind bands, brass bands, big bands to oom-pah-pah bands!
What is a fun fact about you?
I enjoy playing sports - squash and tennis these days. I have also been known to sing the odd Neil Diamond song on a night out... BADLY!
