Mirain Fflur
Mirain Fflur (she/her) is a Welsh actor from Gwynedd, North Wales. She has collaborated with Frân Wen, National Theatre of Wales, Sky Arts, Theatr Cymru, Bara Caws, Theatr Clwyd and Dundee Rep to name a few. Adding to her list of diverse skills, Mirain is a writer, visual artist and theatre-maker having graduated from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with an MA in Acting and Devising. This programme consolidated her abilities as a physical performer and experimental maker, forging her own evocative visual aesthetic together with an immediacy and rawness to her writing. Having first studied Visual Arts at the prestigious Edinburgh College for Art she is hands-on with every aspect of production, building her world both conceptually and physically from costume to dramaturgy. She is currently developing her first full-length play, Slaughtered, with the support of Tyfu Residency, Theatr Clwyd. She has also written for the BAFTA-winning children series Deian a Loli and Rownd a Rownd. Beyond her work as a solo artist, Mirain is driven to make accessible, immersive theatre and create spaces of healing and education that amplify the smallest voice in the room.
