Theatr Clwyd CEO Shortlisted for Green award
Theatr Clwyd's Chief Executive Liam Evans-Ford is celebrating with news that he has been shortlisted for the Director of the Year – Sustainability award at the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards 2026.
Sponsored by Welsh Government, the category recognises the most ethical, socially responsible green business leader in Wales - celebrating leaders who weave innovative, decarbonising thinking into the very fabric of their organisations.
The nomination follows Theatr Clwyd's landmark redevelopment, which has placed sustainability centre stage with a gas-free, air source heat pump system and a forward-thinking approach to protecting people, place and planet for future generations.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, 8 May 2026.

said: “I take great pride in Theatr Clwyd’s environmental journey. Over the past years we have made wholesale change both to how our organisation works, but also in the fabric and design of our building, from air source heat pumps to solar panels. This nomination is testament to the hard work of our teams – from our company members to architects – in imagining and then delivering a green, sustainable future.”
