Our Advocates

We have had tremendous support for Theatr Clwyd’s transformation. With public funding and endorsement from Welsh Government (£25M pledged), Flintshire County Council & prudential borrowing (£7.75M) and Arts Council Of Wales (£5M), the project is recognised as an important cultural flagship for North Wales.

Not only is the project recognised and supported by public funders, but we’re also endorsed by leading figures in art, theatre and music, leaders of the climate change movement and, most importantly, the people of our local community.
