Chandu is an actor and qualified BSL-English interpreter. With experience across a wide range of different domains, Chandu works primarily in theatre and the arts. Notable performance interpreting credits include: High Times and Dirty Monsters (Liverpool Everyman and 20 Stories High), Paradis Files (Graeae and BBC Concert Orchestra), 10 Nights (The Bush Theatre), Anchored in Air (Head over Wheels at Brighton Fringe), Deva (Pagrav Dance Company) and Peaky Blinders: Rambert’s The Redemption of Thomas Shelby. Chandu is fluent in Tamil and Deafblind Tactile Sign Language. She is also a writer and currently developing her first feature film.

Recently she was an executive producer on a short film called ‘Tell Your Face’ by Olivia D’Lima.
