Caitlin Drake
Caitlin is a bilingual actor and singer from Rhosllannerchrugog in the north east who graduated from the three-year BA (Hons) Acting Course at Italia Conti in 2019.
She made her professional debut in Pavilion directed by Tamara Harvey at Theatr Clwyd. Caitlin then appeared in The Brief & Frightening Reign of Phil with the National Theatre, Bret McKenzie and the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts. Subsequently, Caitlin worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, playing several roles in Miss Littlewood – a musical written by Sam Kenyon – and playing Helena in Boundless As the Sea, both directed by Owen Horsley. Caitlin starred in the Welsh language epic musical Branwen: Dadeni, a co-production between the Wales Millennium Centre and Frân Wen where she played 'Efnisien' – the production was broadcast on S4C and BBC iPlayer.
Last year, she played the role of 'Nurse' in the RSC's production of Romeo and Juliet. Caitlin then played 'Flora' the fairy in a pantomime at Storyhouse over Christmas. Caitlin has worked with Theatr Clwyd and Theatr Cymru many times and she is looking forward to performing in Wrecslam! in her hometown.
Caitlin has also recorded vocal work with BBC Cymru Wales and the RSC.
