Our Trustees

The current trustees are:

Helen Watson(Chair, and Chair of People Committee, Capital Subcommittee)
Helen is a Senior Partner and Head of Employment Law for Aaron and Partners Solicitors.

Alan Watkins (Vice-Chair, Finance & Audit Committee, and Chair of Capital Subcommittee)
Before retirement Alan was Chief Officer for arts and Leisure at Wrexham Council. He has sat on both Arts Council and Sports Council in Wales.

Harold Finley
(People Committee)
Harold is an actor, producer and director who has worked extensively in both the UK and US. Recently Executive Director at Stage Directors UK, the professional trade organisation for stage directors, choreographers, and movement directors.

Leusa Llewelyn
(People Committee)
Leusa is Artistic Director and Co-CEO at Literature Wales, the national company for the development of literature. Leusa is a Welsh speaker.

Roy Jones MBE
(People Committee)
Before retirement Roy was Community Liaison Manager for The Scottish Power Foundation. Roy is our board champion for the Welsh language.

Geoff Collet

Before retirement Geoff worked as a civil engineer. He is now a County Councillor.

Siobhan Jones
(Finance & Audit Committee)
Siobhan is a banking and finance professional. Currently heading up business development for Accelerated Payments across the North of England.

Kath Coughlin
(Chair of Finance & Audit Subcommittee)
Kath is a qualified accountant who has recently retired from her post as Director of Finance and Operations at Colleg Llandrillo Menai Group.

Mike Allport

Before retirement Mike was a Civil Engineer and Mechanic. He is now a County Councillor.

Rachel Hughes
(Finance & Audit Committee)
Spent 20 years as a senior executive at IBM, before setting up independent consultancy on leadership, diversity and inclusion strategy.

Andrew Bowden
(Finance & Audit Committee)
Group CEO at Cartrefi Conwy Housing Association.

Lawrence Wood

Principal Coleg Llandrillo, with previous experience of lecturing in performing arts and professional acting career.

Sian Owen

Welsh writer who has had worked produced for stage , screen and radio. Currently attached to the National Theatre.

Ruby Hayes
(Chair of the Youth Board)
Ruby came through Theatr Clwyd’s Youth Programmes. Currently studying applied theatre at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
