Richard Durrant and band are already preparing this year’s musical celebration of a British Isles Midwinter. For these UK winter dates the maverick composer and guitar virtuoso will once again be joined by three of his musical children Rooney, Daisy and Django Durrant plus singer and actor Amy Kakoura and harpsichord virtuoso Howard Beach.

The band’s Songs of the Solstice winter tour 2025 will coincide with the release of Ice Garden - a new album of studio tracks and live recordings taken from last year’s tour.

These shows have become a Christmas tradition for audiences all over the UK who have grown to love the unique, Durrant mash up of Early Music, British Folk, Classical, Pagan and Christian seasonal songs. There is also a growing collection original material contributed to by every member of this remarkable collective.

The band’s rich, six part vocal sound is led by Amy’s unique voice with Rooney’s bass, Daisy’s accordion, Django’s percussion and the playing of two world class virtuosi - Durrant on guitars and Beach on keyboards.
