Theatr Clwyd is set on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful market town of Mold.
The roads surrounding the theatre have prominent brown and white signs making us very easy to find. We are just up the road from Flintshire’s County Council’s Head Offices and the Law Court (which are also well marked).
Our address: Theatr Clwyd, Raikes Lane, Mold, CH7 1YA
Building Opening Times:

Sundays – 90 minutes prior to the first performance starting on that day until approx 1 hour after the last performance has finished.
Please note that on days where we do not have any performances scheduled our building and Box Office will close at 6pm. Please check our What’s on Guide or call 01352 701521 for further details
There is a bus stop outside the theatre on the routes from Mold, Flint and Chester.
Our nearest stations are Flint (5 miles), Chester (11 miles) and Buckley (5 miles).
There are cycle racks outside the theatre for those cycling to us.
From the North Wales coast, take the A55 towards Chester, take the exit signed Flint and turn right towards Mold. Go through the villages of Northop and Sychdyn, and look for a well signposted right hand turn into the theatre!
From Chester or North West England, take signs for North Wales and Conway. From the A55, filter left onto the A494 for Mold. As you approach the town, there are well signposted signs to the theatre on your right.
From other directions, go through Mold and take the A494 Queensferry road. The theatre is signposted on the left just after you leave the town.
There is a large undercover car park operated by Flintshire County Council at the front of the building with tunnel access direct to the theatre foyer. The tunnel entrance has steps so is not suitable for those with access needs.
Recently the council has introduced charges to use the car park however it is only £1.50 for a full day, 50p for 2 hours and is pay and display Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm.
We ask for people to avoid parking outside the front of the building to ensure disabled access and for emergency service access.
