Leave us a Gift

Remembering Theatr Clwyd in your will is a wonderful way to pass your passion for live theatre onto the next generation.

Since 1976, audiences and communities have come together in this special building, a place that is inspiring, playful, ever-changing, and full of care. Over our 45-year history we’ve enjoyed the generous support of so many people, whether as audience members, donors, or by involvement in one of our creative engagement and health & wellbeing projects.

Theatr Clwyd is a rarity... that’s why I’ve made a legacy pledge, to ensure its long-lasting success. I hope you can join me.
Roger Tomlinson

Roger's Story

Roger Tomlinson was Theatr Clwyd’s first Manager (1975 to 1982) and was instrumental in launching our iconic building.

‘For nearly 50 years Theatr Clwyd has brought remarkable benefits to North Wales and beyond. I was there from the start and I’m privileged to have watched it grow to become an important part of this community.

It’s vital that the joy the theatre has brought us, the opportunities it creates and the astonishing breadth of events you can experience, from plays to films and concerts, is passed on to future generations.’

Leaving a Legacy

Others have been so touched by what they have experienced in this exceptional place that they’ve made a commitment to leave a gift in their will to Theatr Clwyd. Legacy gifts, large and small, will help us to continue to inspire communities through work on and off our stages, with productions and programmes that touch people’s lives in so many ways. A gift could be directed towards an area of work that interests you or it could be an unrestricted donation, helping us direct your support where it is needed most.

So, when the time is right for you, after providing for your family and friends, we hope you think of Theatr Clwyd.

Theatr Clwyd Trust is a registered charity, so the value of a gift would be deducted from your estate before the tax is assessed.

Thank you for your interest!
