Miners stand trial in Mold for attacking their manager after their wages are lowered. A crowd has assembled to hear the verdict – will they get a fair hearing? Stones will be thrown and blood will be shed but will anyone find justice?
One of Wales’ forgotten dark days is brought to life in this large-scale promenade show through the streets of Mold with a cast of 100.
Before setting off for the performance:
You will be following the action around various locations in the town covering a distance of around 1km. The route is fully accessible but we do suggest you wear sensible footwear as some areas could be uneven.
If you do have any specific access needs please do let us know in advance by contacting our Box Office on 01352 344101 or emailing email@example.com
We are planning on it being a lovely dry autumn evening- however we know that may not be the case. Therefore please do come prepared for the elements. The only thing we ask is that you don’t use umbrellas.
Arriving at the performance:
We think the best place to park would either be Griffiths Square Car Park (CH7 1DJ) or New Street Car Park (CH7 1NU). Both are free after 5pm!
Once you arrive in Mold we are asking that all audience members ‘check in’ at Rubens Café which can be found on the High Street. Rubens will be serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
The performance will be starting in the High Street at Mold Market in 1869. There will be plenty of things going on around the market so please feel free to arrive from 6.45pm. The performance is scheduled to start at 7.00pm
There will be toilets available at the start of the performance and also around the mid-point in the play
After the performance:
Mold has lots of great places to eat and drink, so why not extend your evening and visit one of the many restaurants on offer!
