Write us a Poem, a Short Story or a Play in English or Welsh; the choice is yours, just get writing…

  • Entry forms will be emailed on request or can be downloaded from theatrclwyd.com
  • Each entry to be accompanied by a separate entry form.
  • Closing date for receipt of postal and emailed entries: Friday 29 September 2017.
  • On the judging panel – Tamara Harvey, Emyr John & Branwen Davies.
  • The short listed entrants will be notified by the 6 October 2017.
  • The winners from each category will be announced at a special awards evening hosted by Theatr Clwyd during The Daniel Owen Festival on Tuesday 17 October 2017.
  • The short-listed works will be read by professional actors at the awards evening.
  • The winner from each category will become one of our young writers for the year here at Theatr Clwyd and have the opportunity to work with professional writers and further develop their writing skills.
